Attached are PDF’s containing base hourly rates for the applicable Modern Awards:

Miscellaneous Modern Award
General Retail Award
Private Clerks Award (applies in Kennels and Day Care – does not apply to Retail Stores as Retail Award covers Clerks)

Remember that you may be required to transition rates and penaltys from a pre-modern award if one applied to your enterprise prior to the introduction of Modern Awards and you should consider any application to the circumstances of your own business.

The Fair Work Ombudsman have provided transitional base rate wage tables (ie. doesn’t address penalties) covering the General Retail Award in comparison to pre-Modern State Retail Awards which are provided below. Just pick the State applicable to you.

A table of rates for clerical employees (remember this does not apply where you are covered by the retail award) is also provided and is based upon providing the Modern rate minimum for permanents to cover all States – with different casual loadings per State identified.

The basic hourly rate, junior and casual %’s under the Miscellaneous Award are also provided.
